Who to blame and Why me?
If you have been following Pakistan politics for some time now, you'd have realized that none takes the blame when something goes wrong. If we consider in totality, everyone would have a role to play in political or social issues that particularly turn disasters. And we seem to be not learning and the troubles keep piling up and further up.
Regardless to which strata or section of society we belong, we have a role to play. Interestingly we have learned blame games from our political leaders. Yes, all strata look up to their leaders when to or how to emulate in social sphere. It's a folly that we assume we are any different from our leaders.
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."
Viktor Frankl
Not contesting the fact, that sometimes we find ourselves in the receiving end of a situation. We may need to recall, Nature has been fair with me on many a occasions. How can I come out of the current quagmire while contributing positively to the society? That's what sustainability is all about. And it takes resilience as a character trait. So, gratitude can be adopted as a regular practice to overcome the tough patches in life.
